The Gift of Hope - Christmas
 Happy not-quite-Christmas!
If you've already done loads of Hope08 projects this year then thank you, and we hope it all went well. If this is the first time you've considered doing any word and action mission then welcome to Hope08!
What's on offer:
We've done a bit of leg work, and put together some ideas that you might find useful in the run up to Christmas. In an attempt to appear organised we'split them into categories such as Family, Urban areas and Rural areas. Please feel free to take any ideas that appeal to you and apply them to where you're at, however you wish.
Don't forget:
Before you read on, please bear a couple of things in mind...
Firstly, that as Christmas can attract people who don't usually come to church it's probably a good idea to be as accessible as possible. This means making sure there's a welcome team and that the noticeboards are up to date - maybe giving details of what groups are available and when they run.
Secondly, there's quite a lot of 'giveaway' ideas - not to repeat the obvious but it's a good idea to let people know why you're serving them. A Christmas card with an evangelistic message could work well - or anything else that you come up with! For a great example of what's available, GO HERE
