About Hope

Local HOPE Teams

Local HopeMuch of the success of HOPE lay with individuals (either acting alone or as part of an organisation) who were excited by the vision and plans for HOPE and who were willing to promote the ideas which formed HOPE where they live. These people often acted as coordinators in their churches, keeping people informed of what was happening locally and nationally.

Other individuals offered to act as HOPE Champions, people who could spare some of their time to act as advocates for HOPE in their wider area. They provided a reference point for that area, communicating with people who wanted to know more about what was happening locally, directing people to resources and encouraging others to work together.

We are so grateful to all this team of volunteers for all their time and energy.

We really couldn't have done this without you.

Some areas, towns and cities set up their own websites to let people know what was going on. Although 2008 is over, many of these are still up and running as mission in these areas continues. One example is Hope Scotland who are making plans for 2009 and 2010. You can find contact info for Hope Scotland by Clicking Here
