About Hope

Local 'Hope' Champions or Advocates

Finding out what is happening locally for Hope should be reasonably straightforward.

The first thing to do is check with your local church to find out what plans they have made. Hopefully these will be as part of plans for the area as a whole.

The second thing to do is to find out if someone in your town, village or city is acting as a Champion or Advocate for Hope. As an example the Champions in Loughborough have been TheLastPiecehelping to coordinate plans for a world record attempt to create the worlds biggest picture of Easter. In other areas the churches have cooperated to donate blood together.

The panel on the left indicates the geographical areas that are covered by champions. Get in touch with your local contact, but if no one has volunteered so far, why not see if someone from your church could fulfil this vital role.

What does a Champion or Advocate do?

The plans for 'Hope' depend on individuals (either acting alone or as part of an organisation) who are excited by the vision and plans for Hope and are willing to promote the ideas which will form 'Hope' where you live.

Hope Champions are people who can spare some of their time to act as advocates for Hope in their area. They will be people who can supply a reference from their local church leadership, have good communication skills and access to telephone and internet communications. We are unable to provide payment for this service and whilst we would welcome your willingness to help, cannot guarantee that help will be needed in all parts of the country.

Some of the 'Hope' Coordinators will help facilitate the vision locally and some across a wider geography. Why not register your interest in 'Hope' NOW! Would you be willing to make a commitment to act as a Hope Champion?
