Regional Hubs will bring Mission Small Groups together for a finale evangelistic event. This event, whether a youth fun day, a worship outreach service, a celebration event, or anything else, will offer the opportunity to celebrate all that God has been doing, whilst also providing an evangelistic event for the young people to invite as a minimum their six chosen friends to.
Additionally, regional Hubs might run ‘support days’ where their Mission Small Groups can gather together to plan and review additional Hub-wide mission moments, facilitated by Hub leaders. This will give further opportunities for young people to grow in their missional living. Our hope is that through these Hubs there will be a legacy of working together for youth evangelism into the future.
Commitment required of Hub leaders
To work together with your MAL small group leaders to co-ordinate and end of year evangelistic event that has been shaped and informed by the young people across your Hub.
To gather feedback through your MAL small group leaders of the thoughts and ideas had by their young people for the evangelistic event. Please note that platform for the young people to discuss and shape the evangelistic event forms a key part of the 10 video sessions
To consider organising an optional Hub training day/evening, that invites all the MAL small groups in your Hub, to come together to plan their end of season evangelistic event together. All materials for both a day and an evening session are provided where helpful.
Following the evangelistic event at the end of the season, to consider continuing to meet with MAL small group leaders, and other key youth workers to build on the MAL journey and facilitate further united evangelistic moments and strategies for your area.
