Meet the HOPE staff team
Roy Crowne, Executive Director
Roy was the National Director of Youth for Christ in Britain and now he leads the team at HOPE together. Roy is married to Florence and they have two sons, John and Michael.
Roy has written and edited a peer-to-peer evangelistic training course, called 'The Art of Connecting'. He was one of the founders of Hope08. He is arguably the most positive and enthusiastic HOPE visionary you could ever meet.
Steve Price, HOPE Operations Director
Steve has an extensive background in Human Resources and consulting. Steve works on the operations side of the HOPE intiative making it happen as smoothly as possible. He looks after the overall plan, resources, website, communications, finances and the running of the office. Steve is based in the Rugby Office Monday to Thursday and would love to hear from you.
Lucy Cooper, Communications Manager
Lucy worked for the Evangelical Alliance Press Office for five years. She deals with Communications for HOPE which includes generating website content, placing articles, writing press releases and co-ordinating story output and video. She is based in an office in London and lives in Wimbledon. She would be so excited to hear and help you share your own HOPE stories, wherever you are from!
Barrie Woodman, HOPE Development Director
Barrie worked as a British Telecom Manager. He is married to Jill and has two  grandchildren expected in August. Barrie is Churchwarden of All Saints’, Milton, Cambridge and a trustee of various charities. Barrie was practitioner for Cambridge during HOPE08 and he was so excited about the role that he decided to develop the HOPE partnerships for this next phase. He spends a lot of time travelling the country meeting with people and talking HOPE plans. He would love to hear from anyone keen to bring people together in their local area for unified mission.
Helen Share, Executive Assistant to the Director
 Helen has been Roy’s personal assistant for 14 years now so she knows how his mind works. She deals with his correspondence, diary and makes the Leadership Team meetings go smoothly. Helen lives in Codsall near Wolverhampton and works for Trinity Methodist Church in a voluntary capacity for 2 days a week.
Jean Sandercott and Flossie Crowne, Administration
These two amazing marvels are in the office part time but without them the team would be sunk. They organise the detail and keep the office ticking over. They both live in Rugby and attend Bilton Evangelical Church. Jean is married to Steve with two sons, Michael and Timothy, and Flossie is Roy’s wife.
