Steve Clifford (Chair)
Steve has been the General Director of the Evangelical Alliance since January 2009. He was Chair of the HOPE 08 Board also. Previously he has been International Chair for March for Jesus, Chair of the Board for Soul in the City and now for HOPE. Steve continues to give advice, training and support to churches and has worked in a variety of church roles, including many, among the Pioneer network of churches. Currently he is a member of the leadership team at his local church. Steve and Ann have a son Jake and a daughter Jordan, and live in West London.
Andy Hawthorne
Andy Hawthorne is the Founder and Director of The Message Trust, Manchester which has birthed The Tribe, Blushuk, LZ7, Eden, Genetik evangelist training school, The LifeCentre, Breathe & Eden bus ministry. He was also one of the founders of the Hope 2008 initiative. Andy is also a popular conference speaker and as spoken at New Wine, Spring Harvest, Soul Survivor, Stoneleigh, Easter People and many more. He is Manchester born and bred and has a burning passion to see the young people of his city transformed by the gospel.
Mike Pilavachi
Mike Pilavachi is part of Soul Survivor Watford, a church aiming to reach out to the young people of Watford and in addition he is an Associate Director of Soul Survivor, a youth organisation seeking to reach, disciple, equip and empower young people to make a difference in their generation. Mike is well known for his passion for worship and has been influential in raising up worship leaders such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Ben Cantelon. His great passions include Manchester United, his grape vines and his garden, ask him about any of these and he’ll keep you talking for hours.
Colin Hardicre: as Company Secretary
Colin has now retired after over 30 years in business, although his wife hasn't noticed much difference! Interests include skiing, watching Manchester United, spending time in France and seeing Christian leaders reach their God given potential. Colin became a Christian in 1996 and worships at St James & Emmanuel, Didsbury, where he is a member of the strategy team in addition to leading a home group. As well as his involvement with HOPE together, he is a Trustee of The Message Trust, a member of the National Steering Group of Redeeming Our Communities, and a volunteer with The Reflex Prisons Ministry
Roy Crowne: as Executive Director
Roy was the National Director of Youth for Christ in Britain and now he leads the team at HOPE together. Roy is married to Florence and they have two sons, John and Michael. Roy has written and edited a peer-to-peer evangelistic training course, called 'The Art of Connecting'. He was one of the founders of Hope08. He is arguably the most positive and enthusiastic HOPE visionary you could ever meet. He will continue his preaching and teaching and mentoring younger leaders.
