 Only a small proportion of the population give blood, wouldn't it be great if through 2008 we could help to increase this proportion in a way that can be measured. Bank Holidays are traditionally a difficult period for the National Blood Service as blood stocks fall, despite constant demand. It would be fantastic if during Easter or one of the May bank holidays your church as part of their response to the million hours of kindness could team up with the NBS to boost their blood stocks.
The Hope Office has access to the regional contacts for the NBS and so if your church or group of churches wishes to pick up this idea (which would work at any time of year) then please get in touch with us and we will ensure that the NBS are aware of your interest.
